Biocen O-RS All-Horsehair Mattress

The culmination of traditional upholstery craftsmanship for the highest standards: The Biocen O-RS (11 cm) has been meticulously handcrafted since 1982 and conceals inside at least 60 equally weighted, dimensionally stable cube cushions made of pure horse tail hair. The well-thought-out chamber system with zippers on both sides allows you to flexibly swap the cushions between load zones – enabling the natural hair to regenerate on its own and remain elastic for decades. Divided into three segments as standard, the mattress can easily be turned, aired, and maintained by a single person, while the soft edges close seamlessly in the bed frame without any central gap. The individual horsehair cushions are washable up to 30 °C, and the cover made of pure organic cotton up to 60 °C – for a permanently dry, mite-free sleep climate that can last a lifetime.
