The metal-free foundation for pure healthy enjoyment: The UF-RH sub-mattress replaces conventional slatted frames and is handcrafted in accordance with traditional methods entirely without screws, nails, or metal parts. The flexible wooden spring slats are protectively embedded in breathable horsehair, which reliably prevents moisture diffusion on the wood—ensuring the wood does not fatigue and the bed climate remains permanently dry. Thanks to the clever three-part division, the sub-mattress can be easily handled by a single person without straining the back: by simply swapping the handy modules, you actively prevent sagging in the pelvic area. It fits into any existing bed frame and, if needed, can be equipped with practical clip-on wooden wedges for ergonomic head and foot elevation.
